Hi, I'm Lee, owner of Texas Roof Assistant. I'm not your typical roofing contractor. My journey here wasn't about chasing profits; it was about bringing honesty and integrity back to an industry that desperately needed it.  

When I joined the roofing world in 2022 as a project manager, I was initially overwhelmed by the sheer number of companies operating in Central Texas. But as I got deeper into the day-to-day, I was astonished at how often homeowners were being taken advantage of – swindled, lied to, and left with shoddy workmanship. It wasn't just a few bad apples; it felt like a systemic problem.  Frankly, it made me angry. After serving in the military, working in the oilfield, and holding various construction positions, I'd always been drawn to roles where I could make a difference. I had reached a point where I was no longer happy just working for someone else. I knew I wanted to be the one setting the standards, the one making the rules, and roofing felt like the right place to do it.

My background has given me a unique perspective on this industry. From the discipline and leadership skills I learned in the military to the hands-on experience in the oilfield and construction, I understand the value of hard work, precision, and doing things right the first time. As a project manager, I honed my skills in quality control, time management and speaking the language of the insurance company.
